A Wooden Box?

I’ve just bought a Trinity Duo brushless motor.

The box it comes in is very curious though, check it out, it’s a wooden box!

What’s all that about? Sure it’s nice and pretty, but it’s hardly high-tech and sexy is it? I reckon that’s the only real bit of wood on a racer’s pit table?

Comments please!

good motors thoose DUO’s, very smooth power band, and run quite cool. Can start off on a lower FDR than say an LRP or Novak, as they like to rev a bit…

I love it! I think I might actuall buy one of those just for the box!

Now, if they’d painted it copper and added some fins and pipework it would look proper steampunk.
